Scope of application

It can be used for conveying fresh water or other liquids with physical or chemical properties like fresh water, not containing solid particles (abrasion material) or suspended substances. After changing pump material (or material of the overflow component), sealing type and adding cooling system, it can be used for conveying hot water, oil-based or corrosive media or media containing wearing material.

 

The inlet pressure is up to 0.6MPa.

 

D(P)

For conveying fresh water or other liquids with physical or chemical properties like fresh water, not containing solid particles, with temperature lower than 80°C. It's applicable to water supply and drainage of mines, plants and municipal work.

 

DF(P)

For conveying corrosive liquid not containing solid particles, with temperature lower than 80°C. The inlet pressure is up to 0.6MPa. The user can choose pump material, sealing form and pump structure and determine motor capacity according to name, concentration and ratio of the conveyance media, operation temperature and pump inlet pressure.

 

DY(P)

For conveying oil-based and petroleum products not containing solid particles, with temperature lower than 80°C and viscosity smaller than 120 CST.


 MD(P)

For conveying neutral mine shaft water and other similar sewage with particle content ≤1.5%, granularity<1.3mm and temperature lower than 80°C.


D (P), DF (P), DY (P), MD (P) series of self-balancing multi-stage centrifugal pumps, divided into single-suction multi-stage mechanism and double-suction multi-stage mechanism, is our company in the D-type single-suction The centrifugal pump has been developed for many years and has been successfully developed. This series of pumps is the best substitute for the D-type multi-stage pump. The series of products have high efficiency, good cavitation performance, stable operation, less wearing parts, greatly improved reliability, and greatly reduced user maintenance costs, thus reducing the life cycle cost of the pump.


It can be used to transport clean water without solid particles (abrasives), without suspended matter, or other liquids with similar physicochemical properties to clean water. It can also be used to transport hot water, oil, corrosive or abrasive-containing media by changing the material of the pump (or the material of the pump's flow-through components), the form of the seal, and adding a cooling system. The pump allows the inlet pressure to be no more than 0.6 MPa.

Preparation before assembling

Before pump assembling, check whether there are defects that affect assembling. Clean be pump before assembling.

 Check whether fittings are appropriate.


Pump assembly

 Processing precision and surface roughness of the parts shall be protected. Collision or scratch is not allowed. The sealant shall be clean. The fastening screw and bolt shall be uniformly stressed.


The centering of the impeller outlet channel and the guide vane inlet channel is guaranteed by the axial dimensions of parts. The channel centering directly affects pump performance, so pump dimension cannot be adjusted randomly.


After pump assembly and before placing packing material, rotate the pump rotor manually. Check whether the rotor rotates flexibly in the pump;

After check-up, press in the packing material, and pay attention to the relative position of the packing ring in the packing cavity.


Notes for pump disassembling 

Stop according to procedures,

 discharge liquid (including cooling water) in the pump shell; when bearing component adopts thin oil lubrication, discharge the lubricant, dismantle the auxiliary pipeline that affects disassembly such as return pipe, etc.;


During disassembly, the manufacturing precision of the parts shall be protected. While dismantling the through rod, cushion middle sections with spacer to prevent middle section seam allowance from getting loose, sinking and bending the shaft.


Disassembling procedures of the pump

After dismantling the pump coupler, screw off the bolt on the bearing gland and the nuts of the suction section and the bearing body and dismantle the front bearing body;

 Screw off the round nut on the shaft and dismantle inner ring of the bearing, bearing gland and the check ring;


 Cushion all middle sections with spacers, dismantle the through rod nut, dismantle the suction section and packing gland, packing ring and packing material on the section section;


 Dismantle front-stage impeller, flat key, forward guide vane, forward impeller, end-stage forward guide vane, drainage section, middle throttling and relieving device;


 Dismantle end-stage backward guide vane, end-stage backward impeller, flat key, backward guide vane, backward impeller, 


rear throttling and relieving device. Pay attention to direction and sequence of forward and backward impellers and guide vanes;


 Screw off the nuts between secondary suction section and tail hood and remove the spindle, tail hood and rear bearing body components;


 Screw off the nuts between the tail hood and the bearing body and remove the packing gland, packing ring and packing material on the tail hood;


 Screw off bolts on the rear bearing gland and remove bearing, small round nut and bearing hood respectively;


 For pumps that adopt sliding bearing, the disassembling sequence is basically the same, only slightly different for bearing component disassembling.


Pump installation

For this pump model, besides general requirements, here are some other notes:

The foundation plane for pump installation shall be leveled by the level guage. After foundation cement has solidified, check whether the base and the anchor bolt hole are loose;


After motor, pump and base assembling, check the concentricity of pump shaft and motor shaft, thus ensuring the two axial leads are on the same level;


When assembling motor pump, guarantee the axial clearance of coupler end faces of the pump and the motor. This pump series has no axial play;


The pump can only bear the internal force rather than any external force, so the suction pipeline and the pressing-out pipeline of the pump shall both have a separate support to prevent the pump from being damaged. For D (P) and MD (P) pumps that contain flammable and explosive gases and run in the pit, the explosion-proof motor must be adopted and protective level and explosion-proof mark are required.


Start

Before pump startup, rotate the pump rotor to check whether it's flexible;


Check whether the rotation direction of the motor is consistent with the pump;


Open the pump suction valve (if any), close pump outlet pipeline gate valve and pressure gage plug to fill the pump with liquid, or expel air sucked into the pipeline and the pump with a vacuum system;


Check the tightness of the pump-motor connection bolt and the safety condition around the pump so that the pump is prepared for start;


Start the motor. When the pump functions normally, open the pressure gage plug, open the pump outlet gate valve slowly until the pressure gage indicator points to the pressure required (control the given lift of the pump according to the reading of the outlet pressure gage).


l Operation

The axial force of the pump is balanced by the pump itself, so there is no balancing pipe; to guarantee normal functioning of the pump, the return valve is not allowed to be blocked;


During startup and operation, observe whether the instrument's reading, bearing heat generation, packing water leakage and temperature, pump vibration and sound are normal. Any abnormality shall be handled in time;


Temperature rise of the bearing reflects the assembling quality of the pump. The temperature rise of the bearing shall not be higher than ambient temperature 35°C. The highest temperature of the bearing shall be up to 75°C;


During pump operation, check wearing status of impeller, seal ring, guide vane sleeve, shaft sleeve, throttling and relieving devices regularly. When it's worn too badly, it shall be replaced in time.


Stop

Before stop, close the pressure gage plug, close outlet gate valve slowly. Stop the motor after the outlet valve has been fully closed. Close the suction valve of the pump when the pump has stopped stably (if there is a suction valve);


If the pump is not in service for long, dismantle the discharge plug screws below the suction section, drainage section and secondary suction section, disassemble, clean and lubricate the pump, pack it and put it into custody.
