After simple disassembly, assembly and replacement, two new coal mine-specific self-balancing multi-stage pumps started draining operations smoothly. During operation, not only the failure rate was greatly reduced, but also the efficiency was significantly improved. The specific manifestations are as follows:

First, the new and old water pumps are also equipped with 1000KW motors, the original drainage operation, the old multi-stage pump needs to work 12 hours a day, and the self-balancing multi-stage pump only needs 8 hours of work;

Second, at the same time, due to the high NPSH of the old water pump, two 45KW submersible pumps at the inlet of the pump house need to be equipped for water feeding. After the self-balancing multi-stage pump is running, the water feeding submersible pump is cancelled, and the efficiency is still better than before. Substantially improved;

Third, the maintenance cost is greatly reduced. The annual maintenance cost of the old multi-stage pump is as much as more than 1.3 million. The self-balancing multi-stage pump works for more than a year, and the repair parts cost only about 300,000, which greatly reduces the after-sales maintenance cost. Moreover, the failure rate is greatly reduced, and coal mine production is safer and more assured.

Fourth, operation and maintenance costs have been greatly reduced. According to the statistics of operation data for more than a year, the annual electricity cost is saved by about 350,000, and the maintenance cost is saved by about 1 million. Without considering the labor cost, the annual cost savings can reach 1.35 million, with considerable benefits.
